Job Title : Business Development Manager – Consumer Tech  

Experience : 1 – 3 years
Job location : Pune

Core Responsibilities : 

  • Research and Analysis skills to identify potential Consumer Durable & E-commerce partners & merchants and identify their requirements.
  • Getting presales with the merchants to pitch suitable products to merchants and commercials based on risk.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Work on marketing tools to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements
  • Negotiate, follow up and close deals with both legal teams for quick go live.
  • Handhold and stabilize the Merchant team for the initial stages of the partnership.
  • Set strategies & build pipelines as per the business plan.

Preference and Experience :

  • Proficient in communication and  coordination as well as follow up skills.
  • Will need to travel to merchant locations. 
  • Flexible to be responsive over the weekends. 
  • Strong command over market research and analysis.
  • Sound presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in Business growth in Consumer Durables, E-Commerce or Payment Gateway companies.

Academic qualifications :

  • Graduate with Sales Experience /MBA preferred.
